My background means I am able to relate to many different people from all walks of life and with a wide range of life experiences.  Prior to becoming a psychologist I had a successful corporate career in press and public relations, and in new product development at a leading FTSE 100 company.  I have lived abroad and am also a musician, playing with various symphony orchestras and chamber groups in the Oxford area where I am based.

My therapeutic work has encompassed many different settings, including bereavement counselling and hospice volunteer work, low-cost counselling and volunteer work with a number of charities. I have also trained with various mentors including Professor Emmy Van Deurzen, a leading existential philosopher and existential therapist.

My therapeutic method is evidence-based and holistic and always tailored to each individual client.  Highly intuitive and empathic, I use a range of modalities in my work and will tailor each session to your needs.  I am trauma-informed and often use EMDR and Brainspotting when working with trauma and PTSD.  Other methods may include CBT, MBCT, somatic approaches, clinical hypnosis, and talk therapy. Sessions are online via Zoom which means you can access therapeutic support from the comfort of your home or other safe space without needing to travel

My core qualifications and accreditations include:

Doctorate in Counselling Psychology

Master of Science in Psychology

EMDR Practitioner
